So anyway, now later on, I have been searching for my old frog comic book, but it's gone. It might have been trashed, after cleaning parts of my parents attic, it might also still be lying there. Who knows. So I started to search the net, for frog comic books, not even remembering the name of the book, it might even have a different translated name in Norwegian, than the original version.
After awhile, I came over comics that resembles, in my vague memory the drawing style to the comic. For example Rubes has somewhat the same style, also he uses the same format and the same type of humour at times. Rubes have also given out comics about certain animals, but I never found one with just frogs. At one point I thought maybe it was Gary Larson, who had made the frog comic book I loved so much. But it was not either of these.
Then I bumped into it, the comic book called CROAKERS by Don Dougherty. It was published in 1982 by Warner Books. And since they don't publish it anymore, I had to try get a used copy of it. I was lucky to come across some on Amazon and hurried buy one and it came to me in great condition, it looks new. And yes, it's the right one, it has the frog toilet, the flies decorations and the fly hamburger! It's fun to be able to get something you loved as a kid, if nothing else is good, then at least when small good things like this happen to me, it's highly amusing. And it makes me recognize that I am a person, that enjoy the small things in life.
